The best possible thing that anyone can do is to ask the Lord how He wants you to be involved and what that looks like. Then simply do what He’s saying to do…
For example:
•Pray and see if He wants you to join us on one of these adventures.
•Pray and see if He wants you to be someone who intercedes for this ministry and the people we work with. We believe that having this continual prayer covering is of the utmost importance.
•Pray that the Lord provides a piece of land where we can set up a base.
•Pray about if He wants you to give to help mobilize others. We primarily could use monthly supporters, but also those who would be willing to sponsor an intern or give to special trips/projects as well. And look…we’re absolutely not begging for money. This life is meant to be walked out together. As a body.
The apostle Paul actually apologized to the Corinthian church for not receiving their support. He could’ve continued to make tents. But he also said that he robbed them by not letting them be involved and shoulder some of the burden. He also robbed them from blessings that they would’ve received by doing so.
In first Samuel 30, David rebuked those who went into battle and therefore thought that they were due a greater reward. He told them that those who went into battle will receive the same reward as those who stayed with the supplies. Ultimately, those who didn’t go into battle helped to take the burden off of those who did. It allowed those who went into battle to be way less encumbered and to focus on the task at hand. And in the absolutely amazing Kingdom of Heaven, all received the same reward.
The Word says , “where your treasure is, your heart will be there also”. We pray that the Lord reveals what an amazing treasure lost souls and the nations are to Him.
All that being said, ultimately, if this is actually a ministry of the Lord’s, He will keep it going…
